Hello! My agency has both Ohio and KY staff members and we currently use Paycor. My current agency has about 700 individuals on payroll but I have previously worked for a agency with about 25 and we used Paycor there as well.
At my current agency, we have so many different programs that everything is highly individualized and we also have very specific needs. I have found that there has been a fair amount of ability to customize with Paycor.
In reference to your specific questions:
- weekly payroll Yes
- 1 state only: Ohio Yes
- small payroll (35 employees) Yes
- require payroll bag to be delivered as we have checks issue Yes, courier or UPS
- Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (appx. 25 employees are exempt as they are Amish) (require reporting) Do not use Paycor for this
- Remittances Yes
- **capability to import hours worked per pay period Yes; you can use the Paycor Time system or utilize the Company Imports using their templates
- Year-end tax slips production & reports Yes
- Option for Multi-lingual pay statements (English and Spanish) Unsure
- custom reporting at no extra cost (build your own) Yes (I'm not 100% about extra cost but I believe it is part of the basic package)
- QuickBooks GL report Yes
- **Reporting for Vacation and Sick time accrual per pay period, time taken, and balances for the prior year and current year. Yes
I would rate the software high but to be transparent, I would rate the tech support as mediocre. There is a lot of support available but the knowledge level of the customer service reps varies drastically based on who you happen to get.
I'm happy to answer any additional questions if you have them. :)
