What are your concerns? None of what you describe is secret data, although the EIN may be harder to come by. In other words, if one wanted to create a fake W2 (or pay stub), it is not impossible (and why the insistence on lenders to use such items is pointless).

Subject: Fraudulent w2?
A gentleman came into our office and showed us a w2 he allegedly received from us, he said that he never worked for us. Upon further review, we have no record of issuing that w2 and we do not have that person in our system at all. The w2 is not in our format, and the control number on the w2 is not in the format we use. However, because our company name, address, and FEIN are on the w2 we are concerned.
